A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing treatment that uses carefully selected exfoliating acids to remove dead skin cells and stimulate cell renewal. This helps to improve skin texture and tone, brighten dull skin, reduce the appearance of pigmentation, fine lines, acne, and congestion, leaving the complexion smoother, clearer, and more radiant. Your treatment begins with a thorough cleanse, followed by a skin preparation solution to ensure optimal peel penetration. The chemical peel is then applied and tailored to your skin's needs. Following the peel, a cooling and hydrating sheet mask is applied, combined with a soothing ice globe massage to calm and refresh the skin. The treatment is completed with a nourishing moisturiser and SPF protection, leaving your skin feeling hydrated, revitalised, and glowing. What to Expect; During the peel, you may experience a mild tingling or warming sensation. This is completely normal and occurs because the peel's low pH helps the active acids penetrate the skin and encourage exfoliation and cellular renewal. The intensity can vary depending on the peel used and your skin sensitivity. Slight redness may be present immediately after treatment, but this usually settles quickly, revealing a brighter, fresher-looking complexion. *PLEASE NOTE* If possible, I would advise to have a patch test carried out at least 24 hours before your treatment.
